I really wanted to like this restaurant. And nothing about it was inherently bad. However, it wasn't the best experience overall. When we arrived on a Sunday night, they were very busy. We got a table pretty quickly, though, and water and bread was brought immediately. The garlic bread smells like a dream, but be careful - they put chunks of whole garlic on it so if you don't want to be tasting garlic on your breath for 24 hours, even after brushing your teeth, don't eat the bread. Still, it was very good. Once the waiter appeared, things started to go downhill. The waiter was very rude, and actually quite arrogant. I'm not sure if it was because we were the youngest people in there and perhaps looked at as the cheapest, or if he was just a jerk, but he wasn't very nice. My husband asked him what kind of beer they had and he said he "didn't have TIME to go over the list" and then said "look up there" and pointed to a line of bottles way up behind the bar that was not only far away, but had no light on it. He came back one more time to deliver the drinks and take our order, and then we never saw him again until we were finished eating. He just disappeared. And he missed getting another $5-$10 in tip because most of us were going to order another round of $10/glass wine. Unfortunately for him, he ignored our table and by the time he came around we were already done and weren't going to sit around for another 20 minutes just to finish drinks. And at no point did he smile, act nice, or seem happy. When we got our food - it was good. Not excellent, not terrible, but good, solid Italian. One thing I was very surprised about, though, was the amount of food for the price. Most places that charge $15-$25 a plate will pile it high with food, especially if that food is pasta, not something pricey like certain seafoods or cuts of meat. I am usually the person who takes home half their meal and the portion was small enough that I had no leftovers. Overall, the experience was just ok, much like the food. While there is nothing that would keep me from going back here again, I definitely would try other places in Atlanta before making a return trip here.

I'm not a big club person but I find Nikki to be overrated. The decor is nice but the drinks are way too expensive, the bartenders look like they'd rather be dead and barely even lift their heads let alone look at you so it takes forever to get a drink anyway. The DJ is annoying, playing 15 secs of one song before switching to another so you can't really dance. I took a friend who was visiting on a Sat night and course I regretted it. The really long table that makes up the night club makes it really hard for those around it to dance at all. The crowd isn't my crowd either.
