We opted for Sunday night to avoid the $30 cover. Salad and dinner were decent, music great. I had the apple dessert which was so-so, quite small and simple, but the ice cream on it delicious.

I used to like this place, but ever since they remodeled it's not really been the same. The prices have also gone up, which would be ok if the food was still good. The last two times the food was just not good...I used to get the pancakes and they were SO GOOD. Not so much anymore. Dry and not tasty at all. Service is kind of slow too and they always seem to forget to bring me everything I ordered. Someone I was with innocently asked our server his opinion on an item and he gave us an attitude. Sorry bro, I didn't know it was a pain in the ass to answer a simple question. It pains me to give a bad review here, but it's just not good anymore. Well, the fries are decent still!

MIghty brings a few things to mind: - A mighty male sausage fest - One couch to sit on, which is always full with people's stashed purses, drinks, and jackets. -NO in-and-out privileges (LAME) -Expensive Cover - GREAT location for parking ... !!! - Beautiful paintings on the walls, but the music was so loud, I had a ringing in my ears for 2 days. How come each of the 3 times I've been here for shows, the headliners go on after 1:00am? I mean, I'm down for a good night out, but when doors are slated to open at 9pm, it gives the impression that you'll have time to boogie down to a DJ and check out the headliners before the sun comes up... Not the case with Goddess Alchemy Project last November, or the Peanut Butter Wolf/ Stone's Throw appreciation party last weekend. At the risk of sounding like a grandma-- for $15, it could have been more accessible to those of us exhausted by a long work week the time Fri rolls around... But enough bitching. I really dug the live art being performed by "Swamps and Bridges" an art collective who whipped out some whimsical, dope ass paintings while the Stone's Throw opening DJ's rocked some lame beats: http://swampsandbridge.../ http://blogs.sfweekly.... If it weren't for ease of parking and mellow location between SOMA and the Mission, I'd give the joint 1 stars, just for ambiance-- The scene consistis of a 90% male population shamelessly checking out the 10% female population while getting drunk.
