i came here on a friday nite. i feel like this is not one of their best nites because it was not that busy at all! the guy checking id's had wayyyy too much attitude. we had no problem getting in because of promoter connections but when i got to the bouncer and gave him my id, he just gave me this look of death over and over! like he couldn't believe this was my id. he made this big show of pulling out his little id scanner. this was easily the longest i've ever had ANYONE check my id like that. i'm 25. people in line were all staring, trying to figure out what the hold up was. completely embarassing and unneccesary. thanks douche. the club itself was actually super nice. it would've sucked if we didn't have a table because there are just tables everywhere and not a whole lot of places to stand and chill. but the atmosphere did totally remind me of the hamptons. as a former club bartender, i feel confident in saying their bartenders were awful. i am a serious lightweight now but i can still appreciate a good drink. and the drinks were so weak! to the point where i was sort of annoyed. and the bartenders were uber slow even though it wasn't that busy. not impressed. dj was AWFUL. if you see that no one has been dancing to your music for the last hour, wouldn't that send you a big hint to switch it up? crowd was weird. not all that attractive and boring. no energy. i'm sure this can be partially blamed on the bad dj but it made me feel like this club's 15 minutes are already up. liam hemsworth, miley cyrus' ex was there and frankie delgado was at the door when we first arrived, but i think that's the best this place can do now. weak drinks+boring crowd+sub par music+douchey security = not worth it. or maybe just not worth it on a friday nite...their other nites can't be worse! right?

Went there last night. One of my friends had never been to gay bars so we took her around to a few. It was exactly how I remembered it. Expensive drinks, crowded, kind of meat markety. I probably would have enjoyed it more if we had gotten there in time for the drag show.

First off, this place is apparently a target for police officers handing out DUIs. I really don't have a problem with this, because I appreciate them keeping irresponsible drinkers off the road, but if you remember hearing about Dallas Nite Club in the news, that's why. That said, if you are nearby at like five o'clock on a Friday, this place is perfect for a happy hour. Apparently this place is a hoppin' country joint later in the night, but it's a ghost town during happy hour. They have cheap drinks and sometimes even free food to lure you in. We would only stay for one drink because it's not that great on atmosphere or music, but it's good if you want to still be able to talk and get a fast, cheap drink right after work.
