This was the worst restaurant ever, when it was open. The Bayou Room closed down three years ago because the food was disgusting, the service was pathetic and the place was filthy.

Disclaimer: I've never had anything to eat/drink, nor have I had the chance to dance. So why am I reviewiing? Well I've been here twice. First time I came, we didn't know but it was Gays' Night. I was oblivious to the fact that I was surrounded by gay men. I was like "where's the party at?!" Then my friend whispered--yo I think we came on the wrong night. LOL. I would've liked to stay but we hadn't come with the mindest of crashing gays' night. We wanted to go to a club and dance with straight guys, so we bounced. Second time I came, I fell in love with the indoor/outdoor decor/atmosphere, and all the different people it attracts. We were going to dance but found out it was 80s music so we left. But I like Park so much that despite both fails, I look forward to when I can go again.

reviewing as a concert venue - i'll be honest that webster is a decent place to see a show. sure, the drinks are expensive, but thats not the #1 priority for concerts. the space (while larger than i'd prefer) is well laid out in that you can move between the stage, bar and bathrooms pretty easily. from what i have experienced the sound is also good, and the staff friendly enough.

well im going to suede tommorow night for the first time.. ive been to plenty of the nightclubs in the area and for some reason never checked out suede. i guess 2morrow is some special event with the bay area nba and nfl players so i guess it should be a diff. night. i shall update and post back sat or sunday. UPDATE. i went to suede last night and i gotta admit it was fun. Even though it was not what i imagined at all, the club was a box. WIth the name being SUEDE, i expected the club looking a little more upscale and not blah. The upstairs VIP area was WAY too crowded, but i guess there was a private party going on. The night was fun, the dj was the local radio DJ. Rick Lee. overall it was fun. bartenders and bouncers were no problem at all. they were nice.. Maybe i went on a good night but i recommend suede!
