One of my Castro staples, time and time again Lime delivers amazing food and a nightclub-all-day atmosphere. (even for brunch!) If you know when to go you can avoid a wait-if you want to get in on a Friday or Saturday night you had better make reservations. The wait can be upwards of an hour if you aren't in the know. The hosts/hostesses have inconsistent levels of snarky-ness and attentiveness. International tapas and strong drinks keep me comming back. My favorite dishes are the gnocci and the fritatta. I've eaten everything on the menu twice over and have never been disappointed. Happy hour is cheap, but be prepared to order at the bar as there is no waiter service near the front for happy hour. Did I mention that Brunch is a total blast? A quiet recovery brunch this is not. Instead be ready to dance and party with the help of $7 bottomless mimosas. Yep, it's a Blackout Brunch location. Lime is a place to get your party on, not hold a conversation. Chic and upbeat folks are here to party and nosh on some well priced food.

Are they serious with this DJ? I could let everything else slide but the DJ is just too awful to ignore. Hes constantly shouting random nonsense and plays 1/4 of each song at most. I know its hard to find 350 good songs to play the chorus of everynight, but ive got a suggestion... How about you pick a few good songs and play the whole song. just a crazy thought.

not my scene (3 words: peanuts on tables), but i guess if you like live music (cover band style), underage NYU girls, and obnoxiously rude/slow/ugly servers, you might like this place.
