I fucking love this place. Can I say fucking on here? Was first brought here by someone I was dating back in the early 90s, and it hasn't changed a bit. The food is completely mediocre, but it gets 5 stars for the atmosphere, the bar, the live music, the easy seating, the relatively easy parking, the cool bartenders/waiters and just general all-around vibe. It's a great place to go on a date, to meet a friend for a drink, or to sit at the bar and drink alone. It takes me back to the pre-boom days - my youth... And I kind of love the fact that I can't even "like" it on Facebook.

Everyone knows that people are hard to please when it comes to clubs. With the lines, covers, pricey drinks and general douchebaggery that often comes along with clubs, it's hard work to make one work. However, I have to say I had a great time at Plush this weekend! First of all, the key for me is punctuality. Sure, it may not be very rockstar to arrive at a club early before a line forms, but it saves you so much hassle and it gives you more time to have cocktails at the bar (with no wait) so that you're nice and toasty by the time the crowd is at its craziest! Secondly, everyone I dealt with was really nice and professional! No scowling bouncers or too-cool-for-school bartenders. I was also impressed with the layout. I'd never been here when it was Trader Vic's (rest in peace), but there's a nice outdoor area with a fire, plenty of space to dance and some seats and tables at Bar 210 that aren't roped off for bottle service. Finally, it's a rare treat to find a lounge/club that actually has amazing food! In our drunken stupor we ordered the sliders and truffle fries and they were AMAZING! To be completely honest with you, I was too focused on having fun with my girlfriends to really scope out the scene in terms of the crowd that goes here, but I know the music was good and we met some interesting people here and there. And really, what else can you ask for in a wild night out?!
