It's one of those LA scenes that everyone needs to go once in their life because it's the Hollywood thing to do. I saw John Mayer and Chris Evans ("Push" Fantastic Four") and that was cool. But it was such a hassle getting in. My group was split, so three of us got in and the other three were stuck outside. The people were so rude and for some reason, a particular girl bouncer kept only allowing men to come through. It was quite odd because you'd expect some girls to be able to get through. But that's power people. To get in, it's who you know. Not how well you flirt or look good. My friends who weren't able to get in were treated rudely and I tried getting them in since I was already in, but they would have none of it. Inside, it was like an ordinary club. The music was hip hop (danceable) and they had cool glow sticks, but I felt like I was in every club I had ever been to. The only reason everyone wants to get into this place is because celebrities are here. It's not a big deal. I don't see the hype and if you want to hang out with a celebrity and think coming to this place is a chance for you to see them... then good luck. Getting in is tough and meeting a celebrity is harder. I didn't try because come on... random stranger walk up to a celebrity. ha. I gave it a two because the music was good and the place was roomy. And if my girls came in, we'd have a great time because the music was great and the lights were great... but don't listen to the hype. It's not worth it.

We ended our Lovefest 2008 adventure at Supperclub for Breakfast in Bed. The place is gorgeous! Everyone was looking good and decked out in their funkiest attire. It felt like I had walked into a scene from Party Monsters! We got there pretty early and they had not opened up the dance floor yet. It was too early to order drinks- so we sat in the bar/lounge area and enjoyed listening to beats while mingling with friends over water and soda. The smell of cooking bacon wafted through the air . When the doors finally opened - I immediately noticed the beds everywhere! Everything is white and the environment is soothing. They had a spread of fresh fruit in little bowls, muffins, pastries, jellies, and more. We left before the bacon and eggs came out because it was about 6:00 AM and we had to get home because we have parental duties. It is very easy to lose track of time here- because you never want to leave! This was my first experience at Supperclub and definitely not my last!

I'm going to make this short. Stay away from douchebag parties and come for the REAL events when it's all hipster'd out., surprisingly, it's a lot more fun. Happy hour, I'll try you out one of these days.
