by Dawna W. on East Side Show Room is a hidden treasure that I visited recently. I loved the ambiance, the drink menu, and the period music. They have an extensive menu of cocktails. I kept it simple and ordered the classic green muse cocktail, absinthe. We enjoyed sitting at the bar and watching the mixologists prepare exquisite drinks, with flare and precision as they would extract essential oils and infuse alcohol with lovely aromatics. It was a wonderful form of entertainment while we waited to be seated. The Friday night wait for dinner was over a hour, but well worth the wait. The food was exceptional. I was with a group of five companions, who ordered and raved about venison, the chicken-fried rabbit, and other entrees. They particularly were awed by the beautiful food presentations, the quality of the flavor, the freshness of the taste, and complementary textures of the entrees ingredients. The desserts were amazing. Best advice is to arrive before 8 pm - it is a popular spot for romantic couples.
by Alfred Eagle on Don't go here unless you buy a table for 500 (that will get about 5-6 people in) or willing to tip the bouncer. Otherwise, it's not worth it.
