The food deserves 10 stars, but the service, maybe half. Its just too congested, not that thats a bad thing you cant even walk around, but we had 8:00 reservations, and didnt get seated till 9:15, but the food was so good, it was honestly worth every minute waited

I attended the Grand Opening of this place on Weds night. What a mess!! I love the Concept of this place and I am sure it will run more smoothly after a few weeks. The place was a chaotic madhouse. Even though I was on the "LIST" (Stupid Hollywood) it took about 30 mins to even tell anyone. Once inside my aggravation wore off . This place is very cool, its like going to a house party but your in a club. DJ AM was spinning and the place was packed. I had fun but I could have been spared the aggravation of getting in. A more defined line asst the door would have hepled stop the pushing and shoving. Everyone should check it out before it's "2 Months are up" just because it's cool inside. Not sure that I will go back until they fix that front area up.

Whoever said, "Man cannot live by bread alone" was an idiot. Wait, was that in the Bible? I don't want to offend anyone, so I'll rephrase: Whoever said, "Man cannot live by bread alone" was a loon. A loon who had never eaten bread, obviously. My face lights up like Rudolph's nose on Christmas Eve when I spot the word "bakery." My guiding nose has failed me, however, as it did not lead me to this charming little restaurant until last week, when Ly Ann P. and I went there for lunch. Consider me smitten. I admit it wasn't love at first sight. There was a slight pause when I saw there was no chicken salad sandwich listed on the menu and a longer pause when I learned they only take cash or checks (thanks for covering me, Ly Ann!). Luckily, these aren't dealbreakers, and like many fine romances, the love bloomed slowly but surely. I ordered a tuna salad sandwich. The tuna salad itself was pretty good, but it was the bread that won my heart. My sandwich was served on parmesan focaccia. Yes, parmesan focaccia. Talk about amazing. I have been dreaming of this bread ever since. I thought about driving up there--it would definitely be out of my way--on Saturday for lunch, just two days later, and if not for the insane gas prices, I probably would've. I'd like to give it five stars, but not taking credit cards is a hassle and serving sodas in cans is a little cheap (though the glasses are pretty cool). Also, the chips on the side were--or tasted exactly like--plain ol' Ruffles. But no one is perfect, and perfection is boring, anyway. I love my sweet San Francisco Bakery, flaws and all.
