A little overrated in my opinion. I wasn't crazy about their drink menu but I ordered a peach (vodka) lemonade which was pretty good. My entree, flank steak, was just okay. Dessert was pretty good. All in all I have no complaints but the food was just average in my opinion. Also, I will never go back to this location being that you have to pay for parking which ranges anywhere from $5 to $10. Most of the lots are cash only if you arrive after 5pm.

Coworkers and I decided to hit this place up after work yesterday. We kept hearing about the infamous $5 Mexican Martinis. All I know is I wish I would've tried this a while ago, I could have saved a lot of money on drinks with not a lot of alcohol in them. The Mexican Martini was a great size and sooooo good! I had my limit (and the Trudys limit) of 2 and I was feeling it. The only thing I did not like was the salsa. It was way to spicy for me. However, my chicken fajitas were wonderful! I am going back again tonight for a friends going away dinner and I am looking forward to trying something new on the menu. I loved how the staff interacted and assisted at others tables and the music was great too! I wanted to dance and sing the entire time. I do not recommend going here and getting alcohol on any other night but Monday. I had a margarita on a Tuesday and not only was it not good but it was pricey!!! I am not impressed and I will stick to Mexican Martini Monday at Trudys. I have now been to all 3 locations and this one is my least favorite.

I would say that we need more places like Star Bar in Atlanta, but then that would be impossible. It can't be duplicated, replicated, imitated, or even explicated.... If you've never been, start with a Tuesday night and get your funk on...or just cruise their schedule on the web and pick a band out that sounds interesting. Hell, pick out one that sounds horrible and you'll still have an entertaining time. Cheap beer, good times, and it makes no apologies for being a smoky dive that showcases unique live acts. Long live Star Bar.
