With so many better sandwich shops... I say that this is "ok". But I wouldn't seek it out. Baguette was ok. Spicy chili was spicy but with beans... and ok. Really a good choice if you are in that specific area and really want a better sandwich than a chain fast food joint. Ya know?

I bought tickets online for a concert; the service charge was a lot cheaper if you made dinner reservations. The transaction went through and then I went to make the dinner reservation via OpenTable and it wouldn't let me. I called the restaurant, no answer, so I found an email address on their website and sent an email. Next day, no response. I called and talked to some guy that told me they're sold out for that night (Valentine's Day). I told him about buying the tickets; he said I should have called first. He then told me to contact the restaurant manager. I called and left another message. Next day, still no resolution. I emailed the owner; he responded and said he forwarded my message to someone else. The next day I did get a phone message that they could accommodate us for dinner. I had looked at the menu online and saw many vegetarian options but when we got there we discovered a price fixe. Whatever. I had no choices and had to eat what they gave me. My date ate the fish and said it was okay. My 4-course vegetarian meal was not good. The salad and second course were bland. The main entree's vegetables were roasted with a spicey sauce that was overpowering. The dessert of lychee-rose sorbet was the best part of the meal. And the sake sampler was good. The Irma Thomas show was great but I wish the meal was better. Next time I'll just go for the music.
