If you want to FEEL the music, don't go here. My friend and I went to see one of our favorite live acts Bilal at the Blue Note last night, and despite the intimately small space, if you buy "bar" tickets (that night bar tickets were $20 each, with one drink min), you have to stay in this tiny roped in bar area by the door. We weren't even sure it was him who came out til he started really getting down, cause we were so far from him. We started searching our purses for the binoculars we used last week for our cheap seats at the Nutcracker. This factory is there strictly to make money, not to be an enriching musical venue.

i heart bob. I ALWAYS have an awesome time dancing it up and just feeling the vibe. Watch out though, it's not everyone's cup of tea (like don't bring your fratty guy friends on the prowl), only the cool cats who like to get down to hip hop circa 2004. The dj alternates between that and reggae(ton). I half heartedly shift back and forth or push my way back to the bar to refill my glass during these interludes (I'm partial to the hip hop). $5 buys you a night of gropes (if you're single and willing) and good times.
