Came here at 1059pm and got in for free. This review is a pre 130am review for the ghetto disco. Love the coat check guy. Love the bar tender. Love the mood of the place...dark and disco-ie. Loved dancing with all of the gay boys. Only saw one lesbian couple and the rest were gay straight men and women. This was a solid fun time.

Oh to be home again. I love this place even when the music is bad and all the yuppies flock to the city because the weather is nice. Cheap beers for your poor nights and the good stuff for special occasions. They have the resident DJs and there are guest DJ frequently. The Staff rocks and will help you with getting drunk, getting that drunk person away from you and pouring you into a cab when you are ready to go. The patrons vary from night to night from all walks of life, and places. Lots of foreigners if you like that sort of thing, which I do, frequent the Q. I think they may charge on the weekends, but Wednesday nights are free. If you like to go to a place and do your Elaine dance, go noone cares, you won't be looked at funny but you might find a date. Things to know when you go: 1. THEY ONLY TAKE CASH!!!!! 2. When it's cold they have a coat check 3. When it rains where closed toe shoes, it's built underground and Lake Q is gross 4. If you act like an ASS they will throw YOU out, RESPECT THE Q! 5. There is a back bar in the smaller room, if the line is long 6. All Work and No Play Makes Jack a Dull Boy

This venue has one of the best decor I've seen in LA, and the service was pretty good from my experience. Hence the 4 stars. People say it's all hype but I think its mostly just missing a few improvements. I really feel that this place has potential, but they just need to improve on certain things. Music, Food, and exit arrangements. Here are some tips for having a good time at this club: BYOF (That's right, bring your own big group of friends, cause you would not want to hook up with anyone here.) Make dinner reservations or start your drinks at the restaurant bar so that you won't have to deal with the bouncers and $20 cover charge. Order Cooked food (Sushi is not very fresh) Get Buzzed (So that you can enjoy your night, regardless of the bad music. ) Don't valet thinking that it's closer, because they will make you exit from the front and walk around the block anyways.
