Lights. Dance. More Lights. Sex. Wolfgang Gartner. SHM. Tiesto. For clubs as big as Avalon, peoples' reviews tend to reflect how their personal experience was, rather than what the club offers on a consistent basis. I feel that this establishment gives me back what I put into it. Keep in mind, stuff like this does take planning... don't go here blindly, expecting a random night to satisfy your needs. If you go in here bracing yourself for pretentious individuals and sloppy seconds, that's what you'll get. But if you go in with a crew of fun people, you'll come out with memories (or lack thereof, depending on your snack/substance usage), bruises, and perhaps a new lover(s). Keep up the dance. PS: watch out for 50-yr old Asian creepers at 4 AM, especially if you're also Asian, like me. They're like barnacles.

I've partied here like 153456431137 times & I've never really had a problem. I think this is a dope spot to watch sports. It's a gambler's paradise...you can probably watch all the games you betted on, all in ONE room! I think the food is great. But then again, after you've had 5-6 beers-- anything looks and tastes great! There's plenty of pool tables and if I'm not mistaken-- maybe it's the nicest/best place in the city nowadays to play billiards (next ti Family Billiards on Geary? correct me if i'm wrong). I remember the days when the hip hop parties would exist. My boy was the head bouncer. He said it just got "too ghetto", Jillian's isn't what it used to be (just like the Metreon itself), but I'll still go there!
