We wandered here after the Andy Moor show, wanting to dance some more. Showed up, $20 cover charge was okay, if a little bit expensive. The guy at the front was pretty rude. He told us the DJ was spinning "house" when it wasn't even close. It was disco night or something... Either way, we got in and things definitely got better. The vibe is sweet- awesome people, just chilling, dancing, whatever. The venue itself is sweet. There is a bar, lounge area with pool and stuff, an outdoor lounge with bamboo, lots of chairs, and a fountain (where you can just chill out smoking a cig!) and then a slightly elevated dance floor sandwiched between that. The music, like mentioned, was at first some weird disco stuff (it was "ghetto disco") and then around 5 or 6 o clock, it turned to awesome HOUSE. I LOVED it. Anyways, we made a bunch of awesome friends at the end of night. And they start serving alcohol at 6 am, which is also awesome. Mimosas, anyone?

Man! I know that hot weather doesn't come to San Francisco often and most establishments are not properly prepared for it, but you think a club (where people get hot and sweaty on the dance floor) would have air-conditioning? The large fans that hang from the ceiling are not nearly enough! I like this place because it's large and in charge. It's a big venue and people can comfortably maneuver from one bar to the next and dance in between. However, it doesn't really have the charm of some our other SF venues; no Harlot sexiness, no Ambassador class, just a lot of brick and space. Its very much an 18 up type of setup. It does have a stage (that I almost fell off from) and that back room which is cool... other than that... eh.
