by Chad Donelon on This is mostly a review of the sushi lunch special. He and I come here for the weekday sushi lunch buffet to get our sushi fix. I'll admit, we thought this was glorious when we first started coming - $10 for soup, salad, and endless sushi rolls...yes! Glorious , especially for Midtown. There are about 6 rolls to choose from and you can order as many as you want. They have all the weird crap too (like chicken rolls, bleh). It's not the greatest nor the freshest but I've never gotten sick. I had the all-you-can-eat tapas here too one Monday night. I'd say it was the least appetizing that this restaurant group does...Noche and Twist are definitely better.
by Santo Pauley on I like this place, it has a lot of comfy couches, high ceilings and wi-fi. I'll admit, I totally wanted to come here because of the name, which is a little deceptive because I was totally looking for something sweet. While they didn't have a huge selection of sweet things, they did have a great lunch menu, so I ended up getting their chicken sandwich ($8). I couldn't just leave without getting what I intended to, so I tried their chocolate muffin, which was great.

We wanted to stay close to the neighborhood since we were going to check out Sketch Tuesday @ 111 Minna so I suggested Prana. I saw a coupon from them like what a year ago and have been meaning to check out this club by night converted to meditation spiritual oasis, restaurant and small happy bar during the day. So, we go! Yes, I am excited going to go eat some PRANA-na ! I walk up to the booth and the hostess immediately seats us. Well, I must say at 7:00 pm I am super surprised there is only one other table seated. No bother we're starvin marvin! The waiter is very kind and eager to see us and he immediately presents us with a basket of cheddar wontons. Fantastic I proclaim, including an assortment of sauces, right on. I like the array of starters that they have and I truly wish I had picked two starters rather than the tandoor-pork w/ pad thai fused with Kim Chee. Really I wish I did. The presentation was lovely it was well seasoned as my friend suggested (she opted for the vegetarian ravioli dish) but their concept was all over the place! What Josefina proudly named it Confusion (Asian+Fusion+All Over the Place). Would I come back. Sure if I am hungry and catching a set from my favorite DJ at their club below why not . However, this time I am going to go with the starters and maybe a salad.
