I love Bleecker St, but this bar needs to be shut down. The Staff is rude, can't hear anything you order. More importantly there is no space and if you want to sit down you have to be in a group of more then 6 and order at least three drinks and good The band was good but that's it So many better on option on Bleecker then this place

A place with nice drinks, delightful staff, and a mellow atmosphere conducive to making your own. No musclebound bouncers or yelling or Mission-bar antics necessary. I liked it the second we walked in and left liking it more. Hicks like me are impressed by a joint where you can hang your coat on a chair and leave the room without concern, and where everyone can speak in complete sentences and at normal volume. A place with a pool table that doesn't look like fat people with punk-spikes fucked on it, and the cues don't have Harley grease on them. You'd think this would be commonplace but it isn't. Too often SF rewards the trendy, the heavy-handed, and the obnoxious at the expense of the merely comfortable and classy. So I dig it. Then I read the Rateclub reviews. Holy shit! So let me get this straight: It doesn't appeal to perma-child Rateclub-mafia hipsters, sweatshirt-wearing, gansta-if-I-wasn't-so-white-and-privileged dorks, or kids (y'know, people any younger than me: kids)? They have a dress code that includes blazers and barbie-heels but not jeans or 'hoodies' (designer co-opted street-derived douche-fashion though they may be)? And more! You say smelly hippies rub shoulders with gold diggers and politicos? Old people play harmonicas to the chagrin of pretentious valley princesses? Now I'm definitely coming back!

A mall I did not expect to find while waiting for the train. 4 floors of regular mall stores with pretty decent sales for being in downtown Philly.
