Attentive, even when it seemed the dinner crowd was surging as their coworkers took smoke breaks at the same time. We had a group of 3 that turned into 4 which turned into 5 and they were still accommodating, even bringing over an extra chair. Our water was always full and new rounds of libations were always on their way. The mac & cheese was decent but unremarkable. +1 to the breadcrumbs, -1 for the cheese mixture. It was a little bland- I like to feel like I was just punched in the mouth with a block of cheddar. This was just a love-tap. Grade: B-minus Fries are fresh cut and above average. Good sized portions, enough for 2-3 people to split. Grade: B-plus The fried chicken gets an A and the A-plus cornbread is probably the best in the city. Overall the food was delicious, the atmosphere was hip but not over the top and the people were friendly. I'd come back here in a heartbeat. But dancing was out of the question. Mostly because I don't dance. After a meal here, this full, happy toddler just wanted to nap.
by Myrtle Horal on My favorite thing about Jimmy John's is the tasty fresh bread. My next favorite thing is everything else that goes in the sandwiches. I usually get the roast beef with ez mayo and extra veggies; mmmm. A couple of times I forgot to ask for ez mayo and got a full load of mayo, which was a bit too much. Oh well. The turkey tom is a bit lackluster, but maybe I should try it with cheese. The tuna is quite tasty (probably thanks to all that mayo...). They have both sweetened and unsweetened ice tea, which is great so I can mix them together for just the right amount of sweetness. And they're incredibly fast. There is NO other sandwich shop that will make your sandwich to order that fast.

I've lived in LA my whole life and I have never had this kind of experience at a club before. No pretentious door guy, No pretentious bartender, no pretentious security....and the music was OUTRAGEOUS!!! LOVE IT!!! Friday nights @ the Factory!!!
