by Mike G. on Pros: Great ambiance. This place has a great location and just makes you feel like you are in New York for the night. Excellent champagne as well as the name implies. Cons: For some reason it is a little B&T now (if you don't know what that stands for, shouldn't be an issue for you ;) ) Fun: Some people spend 10 nights here and never realize there is: 1) a downstairs that's like a cave (the good, cool, Greece kind of cave, not the bad kind) with private rooms you can reserve, and 2) there is a back entrance out to Hotaling alley that connects to Aventine.
by Winford Haverland on oh man is this place bad. i was always wary of checking it out, because i rarely go to clubs in chelsea, for the usual reasons having to do with crowd/music/inflated cost. well a couple weeks ago i got an invite & figured it was now or never. thank god i did not wait in line, & did not have to pay, because otherwise i'd have been P!$$ED. the music was like something you'd hear at a wedding. & i don't meant to be a snob, but the crowd was boring & cheesy, a bunch of chicks with bleach blonde hair dancing in place on the seats, trying a little too hard to look like they were at a "wild and crazy party." we left after literally about 15 minutes & went down the street to apt (worlds better).
