by Alessandra Z. on I planned my sister's bachelorette party here and it was everything we could have hoped for and more! We had a section downstairs reserved for us with couches and a pole, and being that I am a pole fitness instructor, this was a complete surprise and added bonus! We had food brought to our area and was given a round of drinks. Also included in the price we paid for was a lap dance from one of the ladies of Asia....AMAZING! My sister was brought up on the stage and given a lap dance that was so much fun to watch, not to mention the lady of Asia was absolutely stunning. Our host at the establishment was also amazing and so very helpful. He was lots of fun and gave us a "Bachelorette Scavenger Hunt" to do for that night...needless to say we got most everything checked off. I wouldn't say that it was an inexpensive night, but for a big event, like a birthday or bachelorette (there was a handful of bachelorette groups there that night), it's completely worth it to plan the evening ahead of time (I contacted them 4 months in advance...a tad overkill...but you get the idea) in order to get a great spot and all the added fun. This is a place I would love to go again when in the San Francisco area. I send all my love to the ladies of Asia and look forward to our next visit. :)

Conversation in line to enter ranged from Female1: "I wish I wasn't a squirter, I hate it" Female2: "yeah, I go both ways, and the girl behind me, she's there if I can't find anything better.*smile* He1: "You couldn't handle this" fun times at this dive bar If you're male. you will be hit on. If you're female. you probably will as well. My female friend had the luck of the one creepy straight guy hitting on her. Next! Onto Patron shots, the night is still young. ps - If you voted Yes on prop 8, this may not be the place for you
by Kirby Niemiec on people have raved about lift, i must admit that at first i too drank the kool aid. i thought lift rocked. but you know after a while i found a few things to really begin to let me down. 1. there is always a nasty smell on my clothes after i leave. 2. the savory brunch which is what i order is inconsistent. it's either fried too hard or to mushy. i tried their sweet brunch and it's just too over the top. like boarderline gross - too much. like 3000 calorie kind of gross. however, i think this what people are ordering, and enjoying when you see the 5 star reviews. if you look at the lesser starred reviews it's from people who've tried other items besides these oversized, heaping helpings of sugar, fat and carbs. 3. it seems like the more the staff knows you the more they feel they can be dismissive and rude to you. one day i went in for a week day lunch and was dismissed to sit at the counter, squeezed in between two strangers, while two tables were available. i spoke to the owner, who said that was just the way it was. she could not have cared at all that i've been there many times. i would much rather go to honey's, sabrinas, marathon, kite and key, or sazon - all which i've been to, have loved and get really great treatment from the staff on a really consistent basis
