by Adam B. on I had a couple of friends who thought we were going to the offices of slide, the Facebook app developers, rather than this nightclub tucked next to Ruby Skye. This slide has two ways to go down to the club, steps or yes, wait for it...an actual slide. Haven't seen that option since I went to Ruslter's Rooste in Tempe five years ago. Place is a little small and gets crowded fast. So it's pretty loud although I didn't feel I had to talk at the top of my lungs. Bar is OK. No beer taps so it's strictly bottles and not a lot of choices. I ended up with a Pilsner Irquell. Place is underground so a lot of cellphones weren't working too well. That'll eventually kill this spot. This is San Francisco after all. Pretty OK place but nothing you'd want to rush back to.
by Patricia Mikulak on I actually liked this place except the fact that it was TOTALLY packed. WOW.. the venue itself is very nice. I agree with others, it has a lot of different dynamics to it hahah. a lounge/ club/ restaurant? I actually went for the clubbing experience and ti was my friend's club promotion and it was opening night..so obviously packed is what you expect. but man oh man I could barely even dance. Did I like it? yes minus the 1,000 other people. The venue had a nice feel to it. : ) dj wasn't bad either. He had a bad spell but all of them do at one point in the night haha. And I know clubs are supposed to be dark but you could barely see your hand out there. so guys..beware of ugly girls who moonlight as pretty girls at night. and actually girls watch out! cuz my ass got grabbed and i couldn't even see who did it. what a perverted asshole. ANYWAYS. worth trying out : ) you'll have a good time here. ps. heard leonardo di caprio goes here? hahaha i dunno thought i'd throw that in there.
