by MJ S. on Hope this place has a fire extinguisher in every corner because they've got lit candles everywhere. Pretty, but dark. Bring a flashlight just in case you want to take a better look at your date's face before you end up taking him or her home. Half joking aside, I did like the cultural decor. The only thing on the menu we tried was the amuse bouche tray of chopped pieces of yellowtail, salmon, tuna, and lobster (each on a spoon) with some five pieces of rice crackers. Each spoonful had its own delicate flavor--not too fishy, but still had its genuiness. It literally just melts in your mouth. If you're into fruity drinks, the buddha lemonade and the berry mojave are both berry good!

I got table service for 1 bottle minimum (starting at $100/bottle) and all my friends got in for free all night. There was no guest list maximum. The waitress was very attentive and made sure we got everything we need even though it was clear that we were only getting one bottle. All of my friends spent money at the bar so it worked out for everyone. The music was great. The crowd was diverse. I would like to come back more often but it's quite a way from the trains.
