by Dana Lianes on Go to Phoenix Landing for the dancing. As others have said it is a dive. I've also found it super hard to get drinks at the bar. However, the music won't let you down. It is the best destination if for a night of dancing, behind Middlesex, in Central Square. The dancing gets crazy, and at a point in the night it gets difficult to move around without getting an elbow in the head. However, if you drink enough those sorts of things will be quickly forgotten and all you will remember is that great night of dancing.
by Jul B. on Last Sunday, I went for the Boss Nova brunch special (pre-fix three course meal $26.99 with unlimited Sangria) with a fairly large group (10 people). What a pleasant surprise! I always go to SOBs for live music performances so I had very low expectations for brunch. Food was never what attracted me to this venue. I was wrong. Clearly. Starter: Assorted Empanadas - very tasty Main: Carioca Chicken - highly recommended Desert: Custard Flan - very sweet Pros: Attentive Staff , Unlimited drinks (your glass is never empty), great for large groups Cons: Empty ambiance - very makeshift with tables
