by Jana S. on It's like the long lost cousin of Shady's. This place is a random haven for those who like cheap drinks and popcorn to nibble on at the bar. Old arcade games, a pool table and open mic night set the scene for this dirty bar that I am a bit fond of. The building, the music and the people can be lumped into the 'retro' category. If you're an old dude with long hair, if you like to wear denim jackets and if you like cheap drinks then go to Rips.
by Jenna S on Necto is by far the best nightclub in Ann Arbor. My friends and I go at least once or twice a month on Thursday or Saturday and have a great time. The drinks are REALLY cheap, and college girls can get in for free on Thursdays. The music is great too, there's always a live DJ!
by T K. on Passed by this place 100 times on the way to Publix but never stopped by. I had lambchops over shredded papaya which was really good. not too much flavor to be overpowering, but just enough. the lamb was grilled perfectly, tender and flavorful plating was excellent. edamame was the fuzzy kind, my favorite. the sashimi was of pretty good quality too. a lot more than i expected from a place next to a publix. service was great also, but it wasn't that busy when i dined in.
