This place should get three and half stars!!! Can't quite give it four stars... sometimes they have amazing DJs and sometimes not.... The drinks are good and the space is pretty cool. Not sure if this review will be helpful, but you should check it out for your self!

My friends came up for dinner on friday and we didn't expect to come here but the guys wanted to go to a nice lounge. One of them heard of this place so we decided to stop by. There was no line so we got in fast. The girls walked in first and I stopped to wait for my guy friends, 3 of them were stopped behind me and had to wait. the bouncer at the door asked me to either go down stairs or step outside to wait for them, which was fine, so I stepped outside. A minute later he came out and told me as if he was scolding me that " I told you to stand outside" I told him "THIS IS OUTSIDE" then he said, " no, out by the sidewalk"  - he was very rude and spoke to me like I was 10 or couldn't understand english.  I told him "you told me to stand outside to wait for my friends and NOTHING about on the sidewalk!" I mean the place wasn't even crowded and there was plenty of room and I wasn't blocking any doorways, he was just having some sort of power trip and what he needs to do and stop and realize that he's a F'ing doorman - its not that serious! How can this place market itself to be "sophisticated" if they treat their customers like kids. So we go inside, and its about 1/3 full  - why the hell did they make my friends wait when its empty inside! I hate it when places treat you differently when you come with guys! or give the guys a hard time for no reason. If we had come with only girls, they would have let us stand whereever the hell we wanted. Inside, the set up was nice, but it was too "clubbish" for me, I've been there and done that. If you didn't reserve a seat, there was no where to sit. They tried to make the seating too "VIP" its still nice to have seating for people who come unplanned. There was too much lounge space that was reserved even though it was empty and no regular dance floor at the front where the hip hop music was playing ( I prefer hiphop). In the back, they played house which gave me a headache cause the room was small and the speakers were huge!  So basically, if you liked hip hop, you had to stand in the front of the club where you couldn't really dance because the dance floor was closed off to the non-existant lounge crew. could this get any dumber! oh! and I see why they made my guy friends wait, there was so much testosterone in this place, I felt like I was growing a beard just standing there. Maybe it was just that night, but I felt like I was back in HS when I'd sneak into clubs cause my  friends knew the bouncer or paid them off. it was just very loud,  people danced in little circles with their friends, ugly guys had too much liquid courage, and I think  I saw all the guys I rejected from college,, ewe, this is where they are these days! overall, this place is far from nice and sophisticated.

I was here for a private party so my view on MIGHTY might be a little different than most. I loved how open the space was, and I also loved the feel. It is a very modern space, which is cool. The bartenders were really fun, and the drinks were strong (which is good). The location of the bar gives it a pretty cool vibe as well.  I am going to have to come back another time to experience a regular MIGHTY night for sure!
