Interesting entry into the property, looks kind of stylishly swank. Techno music playing throughout the lobby and bar area, candles and the sort. I thought, wow, this might be cool. After battling a slow elevator and buttons that didn't want to work, I made it up to the room. I just felt more IKEA than swank when I got into the room. Very spartan accomodations and nothing really too nice, to be honest. It seemed sort of cheap with the credenza not being able to close because it was broken. Plastic outdoor chairs in the suites. Really??!! As for the restaurant, that's sort of a joke too. They've tucked it at the front and there are a very few tables, maybe less than 12 total in the restaurant. Service at breakfast was really slow and I watched a few people leave because they couldn't get seated even. Nice idea, maybe a bit past its prime.

I went here 2 nights in a row :X Surprisingly, Thursday night was a lot of fun..probably cuz we made more friends and a troupe of Asian girls is hard to come by in Miami :) We mostly had fun b/c my friends and I love each other dearly but it wasn't bad! I bought a round of drinks, about 7...somehow came to $100 with tip but what the hey it was my girl's bachelorette party! The DJ was AWESOME (we were there Thursday, April 3rd so if you're reading this, you are cool). Good songs, right length for each track, knew how to mix it up without slowing the party down. The decor might look nice but I couldn't really tell since it was super dark inside, it's a really good space that they could do so much more with. The VIP is not so much really - just a velvet-roped circle. The VIP guy gave me a hard time b/c apparently he was pissed at the guys we were hanging with. I tried to tell him he just cut me off from my bridal party but he was just "too upset" to say the least. Puh-LEASE. You guard a rope - how many brain cells does that take? There was definitely a shortage of the ladies..booo...having to pay cover is lame after years of never paying lol but no biggie, we left and came back and we didn't have to pay thanks to our new friend Tex. Good times with my awesome ladies.

Came here for 80's night on Thursday close to Halloween and had a blast dancing and sweating up a storm - would love to check it out again - particularly on a less crowded night! Pros: Good selection of 80's music, Relatively mixed crowd, Bartenders are relatively laid back....not too hard to catch a cab from out in front of it.... Cons: Started off too empty when we first got there and then got really crowded in a hurry the night that we came - wish there had been more in between time in the middle...also, wish it was closer to the Bart - the streets you have to walk back to Market on seem like they'd be a bit dark and sketchy late at night! Note - the room in the front plays more popular 80's music but also gets more crowded...the room in the back is more of the B sides with more room to move around if you're into those tunes. Also, beware that many guys here appear to be on the prowl!
