by martina r. on This place is... interesting. Yes I had a very fun Saturday night here. There was a $15 cover before 11 ($25 later), and you were not allowed to re-enter after admission. The space is small with a garden in the back to relax and smoke. They strictly played house music, which I originally was not fond of, but grew to enjoy as the evening went on. The crowd was very odd. Wide range of ages, personality, and possible drug use. I was not here to mingle, but to dance with the people I came with, so all went well. The ambiance was fun, and the smoke machine came as a shock. The dancer in drag (a glow in the dark leopard print unitard to be exact) made my night when she took the stage. It was not your typical, recommendable cluc, but it made for a fun night.
by Kathryn C. on Nick's Tacos is soooo good! If you ever go there make sure to order them "nicks" style. If you do then it comes over flowing with yumminess. I've always ordered just the tacos but my sister decided to go with the nachos, they were not as good as the tacos. Both of the salsas are just delicious. The setting is a little weird in that they share the space with a place that turns into a bar at night (Rouge). Thus making the span of time in which you have to get there and eat is limited, unless you can get there during work hours. Rouge has drink specials at the time that Nicks is open and this is convenient.
