by Kyle D. on Eh, what can I say - showing around my city-goer Brit friends, I knew they'd like to experience a premiere Miami nightclub, so I figured they'd like it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not opposed to nightclubs in general, but this place puts me off because they let it get way too crowded. Even the more loungey areas in the back are way too busy and loud. The cover is also not worth it. I had initially justified it that night since La Roux was playing, but the bitch only performed 3 songs, and is apparently shit live. The only nice touch is the incense in the bathrooms. And that we skipped the lines cause we found a street promoter giving out bands. Otherwise, we'd have been in line for an hour at least. So yea, there's a tip for ya. Also, hotel concierge's give them out as well.
by Dustin T. on I went to MJQ for the first time on my 21st Birthday and it was awesome. The music is great, the people are cool and it is a place that you can have a good time at. I have been back 3 times (I think). All were on Saturdays, except one was a Friday and it seemed like a different place. I think Saturday is the night to go. I wish they would stay open til the sun comes up.
