by Brian B. on Drove over to Sherlocks after Trudys on 1/7. I saw 3 cops in the parking lot and went to The Grand instead. I have heard this place is always crawling with cops I was hoping it was an exaggeration but I guess not. I dont really care what its even like inside. If a place needs to have cops inside the establishment its not my thing. I might give it a go during the day instead of midnight on a friday.
by Leslie P. on i'm not a club type of person. but i came here only because my friend was having her little birthday gathering here. it's free to get in if you're on the guest list. so when you first walk in, you have the choice of either going down the slide* or the stairs. *you must be wearing pants, and have your shoes off the music was good for the most part! most clubs play hip hop. how cliche. but this one had some rock/alternative.
by Melvina Stachecki on Came here last night for the Sneaker Pimps sneaker street art show. Kid Koala and Dan the Automator were there. The venue is really cool - the space is nicely laid out. There are a couple areas to chill - the main stage, the bar area and a nice back room where they had a smaller bar with seating. The drink selection wasn't impressive. They didn't carry Red Bull, but some cheaper brand that didn't taste as good. They used small cups with lots of ice. My boyfriend likes beer and they only had 5 different options - I think the Italian brand was the cheapest but it wasn't very good. Prices were club prices - expensive! It's very crowded and every time you try to dance, someone will walk in front or behind you. It didn't help that no one seemed to be dancing which sucks because you're at a club - but it might just be the music so I'll definitely give them another shot. Definitely PRE-PARTY before you come!!!
