Need a night out on the town not sure where to go well it doesn't matter—you'll find it at 12th Air Command. There are three floors just swarming with gay men every night of the week and on the weekends.
Stop in on a Thursday for 12th Air Command's famous Drag Nights, where you'll hear divas joke, stomp and sing their way into your hearts, all for a small tip, of course.
Weekend evenings are host to a variety of events; most in the upstairs bar have a nominal cover that counts toward the purchase of your beverage of choice.

by Zewditu D. on Just like any other club. I heard it was the best club in ATL, but I don't know what the hubbub is all about. I did like getting in free for signing up for the list. Got there early to avoid the rush. They were throwing around money the night I was there, but I didn't get any. There needs to be more places to sit. My feet were killing me and then was told by the staff we couldn't sit by the stage. Whatever.
by Frederick Lepinski on When you are at Chelsea Piers, it doesn't even feel like you're in NY. Which could be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on your mood. They have 3 or 4 snack bars/restaurants. I like to order a batch of chili cheese fries and sit on one of the benches in the sun and watch the boats. So here's the deal: You don't have to be a member to go, unless you want to go to the Sports Center gym. The gym has a monthly membership, OR if you spend 75 bucks in the spa, you get a free day at the gym, including use of the rock wall, pool, and sun deck. Even if you don't go to the gym, the rest of it is nice and surprisingly inexpensive. Batting cages: $2 for 10 balls, driving range: $20 for 118 balls (4 levels!). There's a bowling alley here too, and dinner/drink cruises and an ice skating rink. In conclusion, Chelsea Piers is fun.
by Helen C. on I didn't get the Tiki designs and thought it was a tad too loud for what kindof feels like a neighborhood bar, but hell, the DJ was playing some really good music so I have to give it four stars.
