by CW on this place is a freaking joke - they advertise as "college club" but the people that visit this place are lucky if they can say their abc's let alone sound them out. two words - stay away!!!! wish i could give less than 1 star.
by Laurine Wendelin on cute boys, shirtless bartenders, ground floor set up similar to a smaller-scale RAGE in weho: 360 bar, front street patio, red and black splashes, and wayyyy cleaner, more presentable bathrooms than when this place used to be jet. the upstairs is VIP, with lotsa seating options and a nice view of people coming in and going out below-- an ideal stalker's perch, so to speak. stiff drinks at a competitive price, good sound system, and i met a girl that reminded me of the character tasha in the l word and she was hinting at going home with me and my SO. hmm, it's an idea that is both tacky and titillating at the same time. ahh, military girls. bang, bang. :)~
by Gisela Vandamme on Everytime I've been here I have the same thought.. "uhh..." The art gallery part is cool and yes, the bartenders and door guys are great.. However.. I always have a sort of weird vibe.. its an interesting place that just doesn't seem to go well once you hit 25 or over. I actually almost felt like I was at another one of those all ages music concerts. anyway, I've only gone ONCE before where it was actually FULL of people and had some decent music. Of course the live band set I just went to (scissors for lefty, and Maldroid) were amazing. But its a tricky sort of deal if you catch a whack crappy band.. If you want to be surrounded by a lot of non-bathing hipsters harassing you for keys and lighters.. stay home. Thats just my opinion.
by Alexis B. on I think I might need to come back here when the dance floor is full and update my rating then. However, any club that has an 80 cent cover charge as part of an 80's night theme can't be all bad. In fact, in view of my everlasting cheapness, 80 cent cover is the main reason I would go back. Maybe I was a bit too wasted as I had been drinking pretty much since I got off work to really get into it. But the club was pretty damn empty for a Friday night. Maybe the peeps that usually come aren't into 80's night? Huh, whatever. It's a really good clubby space, dark, large dance floor, stage which, like Fayza E., is immediately a bonus. BECAUSE I LIKE ATTENTION!!!!!! And if it was full up I'm sure it would have been amazing. But for now it's meh.
