Mr Louis O'Haire - You obviously didnt visit 15C Club. Maybe you just filed a report on another place (Roe?) in the wrong place. First, 15C club doesnt have a hostess stand with a reservation book. Its a cocktail/cigar bar, not a restaurant. Second, its in downtown Colorado Springs. not Pleasanton... nor across the "bay" (?) from Pleasanton.
Third, 15C Club is a PERFECT little cigar/Martini/Scotch club. If you were ever there, you would have come for the Cigars, Martinis and/or Scotch. And you would be singing its praises.
If you cant get your facts straight, at least file the derogatory report on the right club. Idiot.

If you can get over the I-wear-my-sunglasses-at-night crowd, this club can be a lot of fun. They have a great sound system, draw great acts and always manage to keep the temperature comfortable inside (I really appreciate that). I especially enjoy the terrace. However, the layout leaves much to be desired and the drinks are quite expensive. Granted, the drink prices are pretty typical for clubs in the area, but that doesn't make them any less of a rip off.

15C is a rare gem in the downtown bar scene. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. the staff is unobtrusive, yet aware of your needs. Definitely a refreshing environment. I also really enjoy that there is a place to smoke a cigar that is mature and comfortable.

15C is definitely worth checking out. The staff is friendly and knowlegeable. The drinks are excellent and the cigar selection has something for everyone. A diverse crowd offers many mingling opportunities.

While I was living in France I met an Irish girl and told her I was from San Francisco. Her first question: "Oh, so ya' been to the End Up?"

This is in my Top 10 Stupidest Places on Earth list. Why Roe bothers to exist is beyond me, and I encourage them to close their doors and pursue other means of income. Ryan and I had a little time to kill before dinner at Hawthorne Lane (heaven, folks. pure heaven.), and having parked nearby, I spied what I believed to be acceptable bar ambiance through their cheeseball, abalone curtains. We walked inside to find the place dead. I mean it. Embarrassingly dead. The hostess looked up from her empty reservation book excitedly. "We're just going to grab some drinks at the bar." I offered. Her face fell. Hmmmm. Where to sit? Where to sit? Oh wait. there's not a fucking soul in sight. I sipped my Pinot and Ryan ordered his standard Bourbon and Seven, a nod to my late, great grandfather, which arrived in one of those long, skinny glasses reserved for mojitos and stupid girls. "Why is this place so completely dead?" I asked. "I don't know. You picked it. And uh, nice instincts." Maybe this place turns into the Roxbury at midnight, which is what I gather from previous reviews and in that case, knock another star off. In a city filled with wonderful, sophisticated, friendly restaurants, Roe is the kind of place people from Pleasanton aspire to when venturing across the bay...
