by Bart Willoughby on The only bar in Buckhead that doesn't make me feel like at a college party gone horribly wrong. Even though Fado gets essentially the same crowd as the other spots in Buckhead, something about it feels a little more civilized and a little less annoying. Maybe it's the old Irish decor or the large amounts of Guinness flowing from the taps, I don't know. Fado is another pub in a small handful that are good spots in Atlanta to watch international football matches. They do a great job taking care of early risers wanting to watch games from the UK, and they do a superb job every four years during the World Cup. It's a good atmosphere to watch a match.
