18th Amendment LLC - About Us
The 18th Amendment is a two story tavern. The first floor’s art interior decoration is made up of black and white tiled floors with a chrome ceiling taking you back to the 20’s and 30’s era.. To make your way to the basement you have to go down a winding staircase and through the “keyholeâ€. The interior decoration in the basement features a comfortable lounge area, consisting of booths, whiskey boxes and barrels. You can drink, eat, listen to a jukebox, play pool or watch sports on a flat screen TV. There is something for everyone where at the 18th Amendment.

by Josie W. on Overall, this place is a higher end joint. To keep up their standards, they are pretty strict with some stuff. I've been here a few times. Of course the risk of entering ANY club is that there is the chance of off nights or douchebags. So rarely do I ever see an actual 5 star nightclub. Infusion is probably one of the better ones in SF. They try to make it a Vegas-style club. It's the closest one in SF to Vegas. THE DECOR: The decor is nice. It's always clean and not grungy like some other clubs. Sometimes it gets soo packed, while other nights, the dance floor never opens up. They slowly open up the dance floor throughout the night to always make the bar/front area look packed. WARNING: don't walk into your own reflection like I almost did at the unisex bathroom. THE CROWD: Generally, they are a mixed crowd. It's probably one of the best mixed crowds, I've seen. No one seems to know each other. Everyone comes in their own groups so there aren't any stereotypes in here. It also makes it more fun that there aren't any cliques and people from all walks of life. Not 100% Europeans, not 100% Asians from the Bay, etc. However, there are a good amount of Asians that go here. Some fresh off the boat, some Americanized. It's a nice mix. I wonder how they appeal to such a diverse group of people. DO NOT let the site fool you, they only seem to upload pictures of "pretty people" or "rich looking" people or people who paid for table service up. THE MUSIC: They have a good mix of music. Danceable. A bit of techno mixed in with the top 40s. I love it because it doesn't give it a ghetto feel to the music with the change in music. Cons: -Some people are usuals here. -Harder to find parking but that's like all clubs -Strict girl to guy ratio (SORRY GUYS) -Strict about guestlists Pros: -Like in Vegas, sometimes being a big group of girls gets you to the front of the line
by Jonny X. on Jon's Grassroots Rating System: People - as in crowd type/people type Ambience - as in decor, design etc Food/Drinks - as in presentation, quantity and quality. People - so yes it was empty. lol. Tell you though, for an empty place, the Absolut girls are awesome :) Ambience - this is where the place ROCKS - mood lighting, etc. The VIP is good - leather seats, couches, etc. If I were to pay for it, I'd be satisfied. - the gas fireplace is also good - very nice with the combination of the mood lighting and glass front wall. Drinks - honestly, I haven't tried much - will be waiting to check it out next time around. Good place - course when you are there when the place is empty, all you see is potential....(thursday night) I like the wi-fi concept, and Virgin America-esque mood lighting. This crazy girl stole a muffin. The bartender almost fell asleep. And the Absolut Vodka Promo team was there, handing out free shots. How is this a bad picture? Bartender said Friday and Sat were best.
by Elyse Pittard on Come for the sound. THe music with the heavy bass. its an alright club located where all the other clubs are. There's also a SpiderRoom?club where its a lounge http://area.its fairly small . once the club opens you can free yourself onto the floor and dance your ass off. For you smokers out there, there is a small narrow alley where they all chill .cool out and smoke. but warning, it gets fairly crowded in that alley too.
