Went here for the 1984 NYE party and it was great! Here's why: -No cover(for theNYE party) -Free champagne (plenty to go around) -Friendly, respectful bartenders, they were overworked but still had good attitudes (a rarity these days). ++ -Fun, friendly crowd, plenty of New Year cheer! -Good space, big screens showing music videos, kinda classy yet unpretentious feel. -Bouncers were actually nice (another rarity). ++ A good time with good people, what more could you want? Drinks were a bit spendy, but considering the free champagne and no cover, no biggie. Can't speak for other nights, but I'll be back to check on that soon enough, they made a nice first impression.

I've seen a couple of shows here and have been impressed every time. It's a very intimate setting and I usually like to reserve a table so I don't have to stand up for the whole show. The food here isn't too bad and the prices are reasonable. They usually get good shows here also. Parking in the neighborhood could get tough at times but you'll usually find a spot within a couple blocks. A nice venue to see a good show. Sometimes venues ruin shows but Cafe Du Nord never would.
