maybe im not much of that trendy person, but all i saw at lime were trendy people getting wasted and trashed, at the same time. and short gay guys. disappoint, sort of. THIS IS WEEKENDS, yo! quite a scene.....yepyep! i always think that you get a great brunch experience here (since i pass through lime A LOT), but i thought, otherwise. there's always tons of people heading in just for the beats and drinks, so me and my friend opted for the bar, instead. from what i heard, food isn't that amazing anyways.. probably i was glad that me and my friend didn't sit down and eat. booze and music is THE ONLY THING that makes lime a "prime" destination for the trendy and what-not. well....maybe just the music. booze was expensive. blah. whoever thought that you go here for brunch....is somewhat demented. (maybe on a good ass day...whenever that is.) PS..be careful walking thru broken glasses and other unidentified crap on the floor. I SWEAR!

Went here last weekend for a friends bday, but i did have the opportunity to walk around and venture a bit, and this is what I thought: They did have a cover, $10, which isn't bad at all although it would have been nice if there was no cover at all. They had several rooms, I believe 3 downstairs and 1 upstairs. All of the rooms, except 1, had it's own bar (if I remember correctly). The bathrooms.........there was only 2 stalls and enough room for 1 or 2 other girls to wait, basically whenever you go to the women's bathroom, there was a line of girls waiting for their turn..uggh. They played different music in the rooms and it had a good vibe. Personally, I'm not really into the club scene. It felt kinda young and some groups were a bit ghetto, but i guess you could expect that anywhere. I would definitely recommend it to people that like those kind of spots, but I can't exactly see myself going there again.

Food was yummy, though their pot roast just doesn't quite equal Blue Jay Cafe. Still good though. The fried chicken also was good, the biscuits were good. The overall brisket meal was excellent(mashed potatoes & greens with bacon and the brisket gravy). The concept is good, though the musician was only so-so. I like this place, but next time I'm only going if I know that the person playing is good. Otherwise it's a bit too expensive and long to try a new musician out.
