We went to 330 Ritch for a 70's Cal Party to welcome Colorado to the Pac-10. We were only there an hour or so and most of that time was spent trying to organize a singing of the Cal Drinking Song. The bar itself is nice. It's not a huge location and the size was fine for the number of people there but I could see it getting crowded easily. It's also about 300 degrees in there so make sure to layer!

Love the idea!! You walk up a small flight of stairs surrounded on both sides by astroturf leading you to double oak doors into, My House. A fabulously chic little house with a state-of-the-art kitchen, and by state-of-the-art I mean it's stocked full of alcohol! It serves as the bar neatly behind a huge wooden countertop looking into the living room. A decent sized dance floor surrounded by rich leather couches and crystal pieces tied together by the dimmed lighting setting a perfect ambiance. Go upstairs and you find a lavish looking bedroom complete with bed. Ah, home. If only now you could get rid of all these people!! Only drawback is once your inside its hard to take in everything, you can't see the house for what it is. And with it being so crowded, you won't get the full experience. Come on a non party weeknight. Dj was good when I went, wish they would play more house/electro and less hip hop. The bartenders are ok, not the best service but far from the worst. Good luck getting in because being a new club, you should opt for bottle service. And oh, goodbye Garden of Eden..finally. Con: Annoying to get to the bathroom with that stretch of double doored hallway they don't let you go through.

Never been to any other night but Thursday's drum & bass, put on by Lenore. In San Francisco, we have been reduced to only a couple of D&B nights ourselves and I gotta say for being what I hear is the only place to hear jungle in Boston, it was a lot of fun. The music was good on and off, but people were actually dancing. That's all that matters, right? BOH BOH BOH PS for newbies, close to the Central T and bunch of other bars in case you aren't feelin it.
