This place was excellent! My friend and I were only there for drinks(it was like 11pm when we arrived). Great atmosphere, I was a bit underdressed(sweater and jeans), but Gina still made me feel quite welcome. She could be the best proprietor ever. The pool table made it for me...

I have to disagree with the other reviews... unfortunately I haven't been to the OG in Paris, so I'm basing my review strictly on NYC. My friends and I had a wonderful time at Buddha Bar. If you want to get in I definitely recommend making reservations: our group consisted of 2 couples and I had heard about the difficulty of getting in past 11PM so I decided to make drink reservations. So we got in Saturday midnight without a hitch. Yes, the bouncers were feisty and did indeed turn several others away (including a group of shocked looking girls) but since we had reservations we were in the clear. Inside the space was beautiful, very large with comfy beds, cushions, seats spread out... Cocktails were all very good. I'm not sure about the prices because I didn't pay for any of the drinks (thanks sweetie!)... but there was zero cover charge so I imagine the prices were higher to compensate. I can't comment about the food because I didn't try it, although I've heard it's good. If you're visiting NYC I highly recommend checking out Buddha Bar, it's a fun experience and right around the corner from Spice Market so it's very easy to get to. Dress well (jeans are totally fine, just look chic and not sloppy)..
