by rh on STAY AWAY. This restaurant used to be very good - svc, food, atmosphere. All that is left now is the atmosphere. Greed has taken over at this restaurant: mgt allows walk-in's ahead of those with reservations (like ourselves) and then you have to wait for AN HOUR to get just your appetizers!! Unacceptable. This happened once 6 months ago; gave them a pass; but had the same results last night (Dec. 1st 2012.) Owner had to be called over twice to take our order and when he finally arrived was dis-interested without eye contact telling us the evenings special. Was more concerned with his 2 parties of 12 - whom BTW were all STILL waiting for their main entrees as well when we got up and left. And they were ALL seated way before us. In addition, food runner twice brought food over to our table meant for others. Young wait staff was also inexperienced and disorganized and could hardly command the English language. In conclusion - waiting an hour for a simple mozzarella/tomato salad is unacceptable and tells you the poor staff, kitchen organization and front-end that this establishment has become. You can do better elsewhere in neighboring Wayne, Pequannock, etc. NOT WORTH IT OR THE WAIT.
