by Kristina R. on I've had good experiences with Busby's East. It's always been fun for me. Good, affordable drinks. A big dance floor. Good music. Only thing.. $10 cover. =/ If they got rid of that, I would like it a lot better.
by Cara A. on It really depends on the night. Two examples: Night A: Awesome salsa, fun and mixed crowd, getting pulled in by strangers, yet zero creepy-guy factor. The food's not so hot, but that's an afterthought when you're dancing this much. Tipsy, happy, twirling Cara. Night B: DJ playing Jay-Z and Beyonce on an Afro-Brazil night. Wha? Unremarkable sangria. Many, many white girls who may or may not be celebrating their 21st birthdays. Bendy glowstick being tied around my waist = highlight of my evening. I still haven't been to Basement Bhangra. That may tip me in one direction or the other. I want it to be the favorable direction. We'll see...
by Milton Dongo on Cool place with a DJ spinning (at least when I was there on a Thursday night). The ambiance is cool, and the place is great for people watching. It tends to get pretty crowded, but it's an awkward space for people who are milling around.
