I'd like to say this is my resident spot to come to on a regular. Don't expect to have the best night of your life here its not that type of place. I love it because the crowd is a great mix of people who are just looking to have a good time. I've heard of so many guys complain about the strict dress code, but i'd like to think its great a guy cares about what he looks like when he goes out, at least to a place like this, anywhere else I don't think its a problem. But think of it like this, girls like it when a guy comes in nicely put together, and that goes vice versa. For Real, dress to impress. Its a more classy environment, and what I mean by that is you better have a great conversation to keep the person interested. Better than someone coming up to you on the dance floor ready to grind up on you, or someone looking you up and down and saying damn you fine! Yes drinks are expensive, but you are in downtown, and you're at one of the hottest locations, and its not THAT difficult to get to the bar. It never gets too crowded where you can't walk around or comfortably stand. The music isn't blaring and it's not your standard playlist. SUMMARY: You either like this type of crowd or you don't. Just like some people hate big clubs or hate small bars. This isn't a place to dance but you come for the good vibe. I definitely like the Friday crowd better than Saturday. Come for one of the performances, they are quite unique. Best things: not crowded, not overly loud, parking isn't too bad, decor is amazing, drinks are quality, and great eye candy.

This club was happening 10 years ago. It was THE place to go out on a Saturday night. This was the case pretty much from 2000 to 2004 more or less. Then after that a lot of people started going elsewhere. I went back a couple of months ago and I was very underwhelmed. It underwent an awful remodel. It looks like they purchased what they needed at a garage sale. It was always a quirky place sure but now it's just ugly. The lights are way too bright by the dance floor and the DJ is in an awkward spot. This is a place where people lined up to see Oakenfold, Christopher Lawrence, Groove Armada, to name a few DJs. Now it's all trance. The only two things that this place has going for it are the doorman and the patio.

Ok - I am not walking the other side of the fence post - but I love this place! The guys are friendly, the music is fun, it is right across the street from me, and my wife loves to dance here with all the "boys". If you are into this type of place, please check it out.
