Great food great vibe. What else can you ask for? A bit pricey but it is worth it.

Went here just yesterday-saturday night. parking $5 valet. you have to have a permit to park on the street in the neighborhood nearby. there's a gentlemen's club next door so don't end up parking there (unless u really want to hah) 10:30pm-10:45pmish no line while friends were waiting for us, they were standing near the entrance and the doorman let them in without paying the cover! which was cool, LUCKY, and strange..so when we arrived, there were less people..and we had to pay the $10. venue I've heard about this place from friends in the past and read the reviews- I expected a small sports dive bar. it definitely surprised me..on the contrary, it's pretty big..several levels.. you walk up the stairs and see the bar area..to the right is a large ballroom/club atmosphere to dance. spacious area to dance.  red decor, somewhat modern chandeliers crowd total Asian, laid back, friendly college? crowd everywhere. played top 40 music. my friend went to go dance on the stage and i guess her phone fell, so someone straight up took it while she was dancing! the DJ made an announcement and we asked around to see if anyone took it or saw..but so far no one has turned it in =( shady people drank tequila, gin and tonic, beers there. there's a game/billiards and smoking area on another floor.. I enjoyed the energetic vibe, laid back atmosphere, there were a lot of guys there I'd say, good flow of people, not too packed. you can go dance, if not you can chill-sit at tables/chairs, theres also a separate VIP lounge area to sit? and games for entertainment, you don't have to get super dressed up =)

This place is Disneyland for Austin's hipsters. EVERYBODY is dressed up like they're in a rock band - even on Wednesday night. It makes me wonder if anybody here has a real job... Maybe I'm sounding too negative, because I like the place and how it's decorated with hair-dryers and cool salon fixtures, but it's just that the whole experience is just a little sureal, considering the rest of Austin doesn't wear heals, makeup or suits. What's awesome if a bunch of bands play for free and when nobody's playing there's awesome, dance-worthy, vintage tunes blaring. You can sit outside or hover around inside, with all of the beautiful people. The bar is decorated with hair-dryers and a disco ball, hence the name, but the only reason you'd actually want to go here is if to see what people are wearing -- for realz! I came here to meet up with an old friend, who suggested it because her friends hang here, and it was cool because not only did I get to dance but I chatted with some pretty cool friends of friends (all in bands) who weren't afraid to get up on stage and shake their booty. The only major downside is you can only use your credit car if you order $10 worth of drinks. Bring cash!
