This place is beautiful! I've only been to the Drai's in Vegas once, but the Drai's in LA is definitely better on another level. I went for a friend's birthday and after reading all the reviews on rateclubs, I knew we had to get there early to avoid the hefty cover. We made it at 9:30, perhaps a little too anxious and early to party. There was no line and the bouncer said they weren't letting anyone in until 10:30. But by 10pm, they finally started letting us in. We were the only ones in line and we had 7:4 girl to boy ratio. They still had to break us up in 2 groups to let us. Regardless, we finally got in and without paying cover. The first thing my friend and I did was order coke when we got to the bar, they charged us $5 each! Good thing we pre-gamed in the car, I can only imagine how much their cocktails cost. The dance floor is a bit small, but the outdoor patio is the place to be, it's so beautiful! I would definitely come here again, just got to remember to come early!

Once again, it is what it is. However, I like a little self-deprication. I don't think any of the gentlemen in this bar would touch self deprication with a ten foot pole. They were all a little too ironic-looking for me. Overall, the vibe was fun for a yuppie/financial/arty crowd. Drinks were a decent price (though the wine selection is crap). I'd go again, probably at most once in a while with coworkers.

I was here last night and 80's. Wow, it was great! Two types of crowd, hardcore and indie folks. Great music and pretty good drinks. A little much for their plastic cups but worth seeing. They had music videos on the screen which was pretty cool.
