by Emily S. on Stop two on the Hollywood Club Crawl. Although, if you go here on your own, sometimes there are promoters on the street corners, giving you a wristband for free admission to Ecco. There wasn't really a line to get in here. The place is a little small, so the dance floor was packed. It's also kind of dark so you couldn't really see what people looked like. The lights made it seem like you were in a spaceship. Drinks were $14. Music was pretty good for the time we spent there. No attitudes. We parked at Hollywood and Highland and walked over here. Although, there are $10 parking lots around the area.
by Andrea P. on I came here with Gabrielle Christian (Actor, South of Nowhere, Numbers) to host a private upstairs fundraiser for my nonprofit, FAIR Fund. Teena, the manager, was so kind and helpful! We got maybe 8 or 9 combo platters and several drinks for under $100! And, the upstairs space has lovely soft sofas, candles, and nice wooden little Indian style benches. And, the bartender was fast, creative, and fun to chat with. I love a place that supports FAIR Fund and is good to causes like ending violence against women, but I also love a place that is so laid back that random downstairs dudes who were previously drinking wandered upstairs to hear more about our cause and then ended up donating. This place is great for friends or with a date!
by Marcelino Villaneuva on 1984 is the only thing I know about this club, and every time I go there I have a blast. 1984 is just that; Thursday nights, 80's dance music. I love getting up on the boxes and gettin' my groove thing on. If you haven't checked it out, I strongly advise you give it a go.
