by Ezequiel Sirles on I have been here enough times that the staff knows my name so i figured i should atleast write a review. I really enjoy the crowd and layout of this place. Downstairs has high top tables and a long couch along the wall with tables that is perfect for dates. The upstairs area is really nice also with couches and a bar, beware the upstairs area is where people go to smoke hookah's and cigars so if you can't tolerate that stay down stairs. The People....On Friday's and Saturday's around 12:30am a live band and singer will start and it really sets the vibe. The music is typically 90's R&B classics and slow jams. The crowd is professional late 20's-30's (no thugs!!) friendly and laid back. The food....I have tried a few things on the menu and everything is pretty tasty. 1. Jerk Wings - 7 wings seasoned pretty good, maybe a little salty for some. 2. Conch Cakes - Hated it!!!! 3. Gumbo - This is my regular order. Even though it is considered an appetizer they give you a nice portion. 4. Lamb Ribs - Very Tasty but by the time you start to enjoy them they are all gone(very small order). 5. Goat Stew with Roti Bread - No complaints 6. Strip Steak Dinner - Absolutely Delicious!!! 7. Sweet Potato French Fries - Can't go wrong with this Check it out and if you see me at the bar feel free to say whats up. by Daissy D. on Best food ever!!!!! It was meant to be! Originally from Chicago, we were walking by, saw the place and decided to give it a try.. "Django Jypsi Kitchen & Saloon" k'mon we had to try it. When we got to the door, it was closed!!!! as we waited in front of the place to decide where to go, someone opened the door and told us that they were going to open like in 30... eager to check out the place we went for a walk and most definitely came back!--- best decision ever!!! drinks were a tid bit strong but still delicious... The FOOD!!! AMAZING.. we ordered a bunch of appetizers... YUM! couldn't get enough! THE WINGS! best wings I have ever had anywhere in the WORLD. Full of flavor, DELICIOUS! Calamari, Pizza, yum yum yum... I didn't like ATL that much but would definitely go back just to get some more of those wings. wish they delivered via air mail. yummmmm Django wings, I crave you!
by Jerold Minneweather on went there for dinner. got the chilean sea bass. food was good but for the price I expected more. I guess most of the cost was in the marketing. problem with the place was the loud music that went on for the bar crowd. i like music, but i had alot of difficulty talking to my friends. Dinner with drinks for 3 totaled approx 200 without tip. It was a good place, but I doubt I'll come back here again. Its trying to be too much to too many people. It felt like cheesecake factory with a subwoofer at times.
