by Kristin F. on Let's go to the hop! I haven't made it to the SF location, but did quite enjoy myself when I was here during my 6 month stay in ATX. I rolled in here after a Longhorns game and promptly ordered a beverage and sat in one of those hair dryer chairs. Cute, vintage, hipster. I enjoyed this bar compared to the mess that is dirty 6th, and the slightly more pretentious West 6th, where I spent most of my time while living in Austin (at the Monarch).
by Letitia W. on So overrated!!!!! The parking situation is horrible unless you want to dish out $15-20 for the lot at is sometimes full if you go late. I was lucky because I was able to find street parking but only after I circled the block 4 times. If that doesn't kill your partying mood, then waiting in the long ass line forEVER will. Again, I was lucky in that my friend I was with knows one of the promoter of that night but we still had to wait for quite awhile. So we finally went inside. The drinks are so expensive. The dance floor was really crowded... while... it was crowded in general. It was hard to get around. Again... OVERRATED!!! There are better places to go in Hollywood.
