I dont frequent this place often, but I must say the waitstaff have something to be desired. I dont know what it is but when I've been there they just seem to want to be anywhere but there. They also seem to throw out these "reserved" signs on their tables but I have never once seen anyone come in and sit at them. But they have no problem coming up to you and telling you that you need to move. Also since the whole place is setup to be totally reconfigurable i dont know why they even use them. I dont see this place as being a place where people go late nights to get a bite to eat. I've read on here that people seem to love one of the burgers that they make and next time I'm there I will definately give it a shot so if it is as good as people say and the waitstaff can redeem themselves then I will definately modify this review.

After stumbling and pushing our way OUT of hiro at like 1am, we decided to go back to the safety. the Park. It's great if you have friends that have mixed feelings about dancing. The downstairs is perfect for sipping cocktails and relaxing while the upstairs is for those who want to dance. The drinks are not very strong, but the prices (i suppose) for meatpacking is decent/average. I say, come prepared, grab a group of friends that love having a good time without the fancy schmancy crap and you'll have an awesome time here

I stayed here with my girlfriend for a weekend getaway. Though we didn't need assistance, It was a bit off putting at first because nobody offered to help us with our luggage as they should. Check-in had a pleasant surprise for us as they gave us an instant upgrade to a cabana suite overlooking the pool. We were kind of looking forward to staying in the main hotel for the historical factor...but I couldn't exactly say no to an upgrade. The room itself was great and the Kiehls products in the bathrooms were a definite plus. The cabana area had a very "Catch Me if You Can" feel to it, which was pretty sweet. Later, when I was trying to stash away some things away while getting ready, we found the safe was broken as well as a nearby outlet. Meh. Anyway, the cabana area was definitely a younger "I'm getting away on my parent's money" kind of crowd from what we saw, but then again some kid was having a "Super Sweet 16-esque" party in the main ballroom. Nevertheless, the concierge was very helpful in getting some must-see/do agenda spots nailed down for me which was key for our abbreviated getaway. I wouldn't mind staying there again to give it another shot.
