Quantity over quality. 3.5 stars rounded up. Went here for the Tuesday 5-8 Happy Hour, $18 AYCD beer and wine PLUS AYCE fried chicken, pork cutlet and pickled radish. They also periodically throw in some baked potatos with bacon, as well as spicy rice cakes. Vegetarians beware, as the spicy rice cakes and pickled radish are pretty much the only things you can eat here during this time (perhaps ever). I came here twice, actually. The first time did not end so well. I had not eaten in nearly 24 hours in preparation for an epic meal slash battle. Having rounded the troops, we were sat in the lounge area. Two girls (one vegetarian) were with us. The men ordered the happy hour special, ready to go. I informed the waitress that the ladies needed some more time perusing the menu before deciding what to eat. There are no vegetarian options to be seen. I asked the waitress, and only then did she tell us that the happy hour special was the only food option. Thank you for telling me that before. -1 service. Anyways, we left. Round 2. I had attempted to go through the preparations as I had the week before, but I failed to resist temptation at lunch when the hospital held its annual holiday lunch party. I then tried to make up for it with a BM but failed to do that since I held it in too long and I only eat meat. This would prove to be negligible. DECOR/AMBIANCE: I guess it's trendy. Pretty upscale looking. +1 SERVICE: It was much busier than last time. They had only 2 or 3 waitresses for a packed house. I'd say service was great, except for the fact that they forgot / ignored things. So what could have become a 0 for service (vs. last visit) stays at a -1. QUANTITY: Doesn't matter how many people are in your party. Whether you have a 2 or 10, you will get the same amount of food. The trick is to order again as soon as you get it, because they don't listen when you ask for more at once. They win points on free-flowing alcohol. QUALITY: Meh. Chicken is soft, and bones are few, but definitely bland. Must make sure to use the dipping sauce. I asked for more when it was done, and they forgot... yet another blow to their service. The rest of the food is relatively bland as well. I would be severely disappointed if I came at regular hours and paid full price for any of these items. BANG FOR BUCK: Amazing. Why? Mostly because of the alcohol, which includes wine, and partially because of the food. It might not taste that great, but at least you get your money's worth and then some. So to break it down: +1 Ambiance -1 Service +1 Quantity (AYCE, after all) +0.5 Quality +1 Bang for the buck Glad I came. Shame it's only on Tuesdays. If I'm down to get pissed then I'll return. Otherwise, Boka's chicken is superior to everything Third Floor Cafe offers food-wise.

After stumbling and pushing our way OUT of hiro at like 1am, we decided to go back to the safety. the Park. It's great if you have friends that have mixed feelings about dancing. The downstairs is perfect for sipping cocktails and relaxing while the upstairs is for those who want to dance. The drinks are not very strong, but the prices (i suppose) for meatpacking is decent/average. I say, come prepared, grab a group of friends that love having a good time without the fancy schmancy crap and you'll have an awesome time here

went there for dinner. got the chilean sea bass. food was good but for the price I expected more. I guess most of the cost was in the marketing. problem with the place was the loud music that went on for the bar crowd. i like music, but i had alot of difficulty talking to my friends. Dinner with drinks for 3 totaled approx 200 without tip. It was a good place, but I doubt I'll come back here again. Its trying to be too much to too many people. It felt like cheesecake factory with a subwoofer at times.
