I'm sorry but I brought my girlfriends there for a birthday celebration and it was very far from that, what a big mistake. We ordered long islands and once I tried to close out my tab and get my ID back I was completey ignored for about a half hour. I don't know if she was trying to get me to order more drinks to create a bigger tab for her to get a bigger tip but that was not my intention. I just wanted to go home and get my ID and debit card. There was no way for me to do that for a half hour until I started crying in front of everyone. I think they just got embarrassed and just wanted me out but that is really no way for someone to get their ID card and credit/debit card back from the bartender. It was absolutely horrible and I do not wish to return again. I whole heartedly wish that your bar gets shut down because of the absolutely horrible service you provide; why would you keep a place open??

The exterior of Cielo should have detered us from coming in but we went in anyway. After all, we did pay $20 bucks a person AND had checked in our coats - no point in backing out now. Pretty sure Danielle B. and I were the only non-European people here that Monday. Actually we were because at one point in the night we went around drunkenly asking everyone if they were from the states. No luck there. We did however meet a bunch of Eastern Europeans! Now don't get me wrong, we are both huge house fans, but I guess we weren't nearly as hardcore as everyone else that was there. Only come if you really enjoy house/trance!

This place is absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere is warm, exotic, upscale and very entertaining. The martinis are the best you will find anywhere. This is the place to impress your date.

No single place in San Francisco brings in such quality music. Amon Tobin, DJ Krush, Ladytron ... I'm so glad I moved to San Francisco. Big sound system, enough room to dance, and the couches upstairs are a great place to take a break from the party. Keep up the good work!
