Dancers on the tables and the red lights were a little much but definitely set a vibe. Good DJ Saturdays. The place is dress to impress... ladies pull out those little dresses you've been dying to wear over the winter. Guys just put on the button up... and shut up about not getting in because of your t-shirt. Show up early to skip the $20 cover.

To me, people who can write poetry should be put on shrines or something- they have such ease of language. And so, I always end up doing something dumb in the presence of someone poetic. I sputter and try to quote Shakespeare- and I just end up making a fool of myself. Mostly because I'm genuinely foolish. But. I don't regret coming here. I heard some great poetry and met some intensely interesting people.
